Activity Books
We're starting a new genre for Dark Owl: activity books! Our goal is to provide journals and coloring books for anyone to enjoy. From logging your own movie collection to coloring creepy images, our activity books will be perfect for filling in down time, enjoying during a lunch break, or unwinding after a long day.
Three activity books are available now, and more are coming! Let us know if you have any ideas for activity books from Dark Owl--we'd love to hear them!
Documenting scary movies from the 1920s to the 2020s!

Get your pencils and pens ready, for this is your new way to keep track of all the horror films you've watched and the formats you own.

This journal is designed for logging horror movies you've both seen and that you have in your own personal collection. To get you started, there are fifty horror films from each decade already listed, starting with the 1920s. Of course, there are probably some films missing that you'll want to include, so there's additional room for you to add them! We also have a section with franchises listed, and there are pages in the back for notes, reviews, actor names, anything else you'd like to add.

Brew up a cup of dark coffee, curl up on your couch with a simple reading light, and immerse yourself into logging what you have seen so you can show off your love for horror movies!
Horror Travels Across the United States of America!

Are you ready for a horror tour of the U.S. of A.?
This journal will get you in your car, turning on your favorite horror-themed music, and pulling up the map to get your journey started!

Gathered here are various haunted locations, scary attractions,
spooky places, horror shops, lists of movies that take place in each state, and more! Check off each place you visit and add notes about your frightening experiences!

Gather your flashlights and your wits and be prepared to be scared!
May your travels be safe and the horrors be plentiful!
Documenting scary movies by genre!

In this journal, you can organize the movies you've watched
and the ones you own by horror subgenre!

This is a different version of Dark Owl Publishing's original Horror Film Journal. Here, the films are organized by subgenres that huddle under the horror umbrella, ready to pounce and scare you to death!

There are thirty genres listed here with a table of contents so you can easily maneuver through them. Fifty films up to the year 2025 from each genre are included with room for you to add your own and to write notes about the movies. There's also a Notes section in the back where you could make your own lists of more subgenres.

Gather your favorite pen, sit in your favorite chair,
and settle down for an evening of logging your favorites!
You're ready to record how much you love horror!

Our Cryptids and Creepers from our Dark Owl Sauces labels
are here for YOU to color!

Lurking within these pages are 25 cryptids and creepers
from around the world that have haunted humankind,
some for centuries,
some within the past few decades.

Bring them to life with your favorite medium - pencils, pens, markers...
But we cannot guarantee that once
you've started down the path of resurrection,
they won't haunt your nightmares.
